CommentLimb morphology: 5 digits, 5 toes (Singhal et al. 2018, Cogger 2014) 
EtymologyFrom the Latin stria (line) plus -ceps (head), in reference to the pale paravertebral stripes continuing to the snout. (G. Shea, pers. comm., 9 Feb 2024)
