Type locality: 5.4 mi E West End, southern coastal platform, Cayman Brac, Cayman Islands.

DiagnosisDiagnosis. 1) a distinctly elongate, oval rostral in dorsal aspect, 2) pigmentation pale gray-brown, somewhat more reddish than in the nominate subspecies, occupying 11 dorsalmost rows (9-11 in neck region) and involving only one row in the dropping out of pigmented scales, giving a straight but serrate-edge effect, 3) small size and slender proportions.
