DiagnosisDiagnosis: The caudal crest is developed in adults of both sexes to a length greater than that of the dorsal crest (fig. 3); the head and fore-parts bright blue. (Grant 1941)

CommentHybridization: C. n. nubila hybrizes with C. n. lewisi (SKUBOWIUS 2012).
