Diagnosis

Synonymy: note that Gosse has published his description twice, in two different journals, which apparently appeared in different years (as he actually has done with other papers).

Abundance: Rare. This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyAlthough possibly named after its habitat, “hills”, after Latin “collei” for "of the hill", Gray refers to the species as Colley's Iguana, so he must have had someone in mind named “colley”, although it remains unknown who that person was.
