| Comment | Types: The original entry in the collection catalogue of the herpetological collection at RMNH lists both specimens (under the registration number 5460) as “Cylindrophis rufus” and indicates that they were later identified as “Cylindrophis melanotus var.” by Dutch zoologist Leo Daniël Brongersma (1907–1994). Known from only 3 specimens. |
