Type locality: Khao Luang, altitude 750 m, Nakon Sritamarat mountains, Peninsular Siam.

Diagnosis 
CommentSimilar species: C. elok DRING 1979.

Distribution: Has been erroneously (?) reported from India and Cambodia. Its range may be limited to S Thailand and N peninsular Malaysia fide Cox et al. 1998. Reports from Malaysia are actually C. elok (fide GRISMER 2008). See map in Harvey et al. 2016: 526 (Fig. 5).

Similar species: C. dumnuii, C. tigroides, C. khelangensis, C. muangfuangensis, C. huongsonensis.

Group: The brevipalmatus group includes the following species: interdigitalis, elok, brevipalmatus, ngati, rukhadeva. For characters of the species in this group see Grismer et al. 2022.
