Distribution	West Malaysia (Pulau Aur, Johor) Type locality: east behind Kampung Berhala (02°27’53’’N; 104°30’25’’E) in a cleared durian grove on Pulau Aur, Johor, West Malaysia.
Reproduction	oviparous
Types	Holotype: ZRC 2.6123, adult male, collected on 12 September 2004 at 2030 h by T. M. Youmans.
Diagnosis	Diagnosis: Distinguished from all other Sunda Shelf species by having the following unique suite of character states: small, low, conical, unkeeled body tubercles; tubercles absent from forelimbs and posterior to base of tail; 45–51 ventral scales across belly; transversely enlarged, median subcaudal scales; proximal subdigital lamellae transversely expanded; abrupt transition between the large posterior and small ventral femoral scales; no enlarged femoral scales or pores; presence of a preanal groove; enlarged preanal scales; presence of preanal pores; faint, lightly colored reticulate pattern on top of head; and body banded as an adult [from GRISMER 2005].
Comment	Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017).
Etymology	Named after its type locality.
