DistributionSW India (Western Ghats, south of the Goa gap, Travancore and Tinenvelly, Nilgiris, Wynad [fide WALL 1921: 157], Kerala).

Type locality: restricted to “Tinnevelly Hills, South India” (Meise & Henning 1932: 286)
