DiagnosisDIAGNOSIS: The absence of a mental groove (fig. 11.14e in Savage 2002), the rectangular chin shields, and the relatively unspotted light rings separate this form from all other tri-colored Costa Rican snakes (Savage 2002: 597). 
CommentHabitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018).
