DistributionAngola, Zaire, Zambia, DRC (Congo)

Type locality: “Dundo, Angola”  
Reproductionegg-laying (oviparous). 
TypesHolotype: RMCA (= MRAC) 17395, Paratypes in ZFMK, IRSNB, CM, and RMNH but not in FMNH (fide A. Resetar, pers. comm., 4 Feb 2019); other types in MD (Museu Dundo) 

Diet: feeds mainly on chamaeleons and other tree lizards, nestling birds and eggs;
