Type locality: Binh Tien forest station, Ninh Hai District, Nui Chua National Park, Ninh Thuan Province, southern Vietnam, 11° 46’ N 109° 11 E, 4 – 5 m elevation.

TypesHolotype: UNS 0284, an adult male, collected by Ngo Van Tri on 23 August 2007.
 
CommentAbundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed in honor of Professor Dr. Aaron M. Bauer (Villanova University).
