Types	Holotype: MZB Lace 6443 (field number 5 JAM 3800), an adult male, collected on September 29, 2001, by Jimmy A. McGuire, Awal Riyanto,and Ruud de Lang.
Diagnosis	Diagnosis: Draco supriatnai can be distinguished from all other members of the D. lineatus group by the following combination of characteristics: (1) dorsal patagial coloration of males with one to four black distal blotches on an orange or yellow field, (2) male dewlap short and rounded distally, (3) dewlap in males bright yellow in coloration, (4) absence of a melanic interorbital spot in males, (5) presence of a large melanic rhomboidal nuchal spot in both sexes, (6) presence of a large melanic rhomboidal postnuchal spot in both sexes, (7) nuchal and postnuchal spots surrounded by white pigments in males, (8) variable presence of melanic ‘eye spots’ (dark spots with associated white or pale pigments) on the supraorbital semicircles of both sexes, (9) absence of a parietal lens, and (10) tympana that are either unscaled, partially scaled, or entirely covered with scales in both sexes (McGuire et al. 2007).
Comment	Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017).
Etymology	The specific epithet supriatnai is a non-latinized patronym in honor of Jatna Supriatna, in recognition of his important investigation of the reptiles and amphibians of the Togian Islands, the key role he played in the designation of protected status for these islands, his enduring commitment to the protection of Indonesian biodiversity, and his strong support for our herpetological biotic survey efforts in Indonesia.
