CommentOne questionable record from Miangas Island (Indonesia) has been reproted [see MCGUIRE & ALCALA 2000 for discussion]. Note that ROSS & LAZELL (1990) revalidated Draco everetti.

Synonymy: has been considered as a synonym of Draco volans (reticulatus), e.g. by WERMUTH (1967) and MUSTERS (1983). 
EtymologyNamed after Greek kyanos = blue, and Greek pteron = feather, wing.
