Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A member of the E. striolata group with smooth dorsals and unenlarged supracaudals. Further distinguishable from E. carinata by absence of black pigment and presence of broad pale laterodorsal stripe. Distinguishable from E. douglasi by spotted back, lesser size and more numerous upper labials, midbody scale rows and subdigital lamellae (Storr 1978: 170).
