Type locality: East Sumba, 10° 06’ 30’’ S, 120° 41’ 30’’ E.

Diagnosis 
CommentAbundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyNamed after W.H. and M. Butler “shoe continuing financial support of natural science fieldwork in the Western Australian Museum helped make possible the herpetological survey of Sumba Island, Indonesia.”
