Diagnosis | DESCRIPTION: Maximum SVL 797 mm; dorsal scale rows at midbody 17; ventrals 182-200; subcaudals 78-80; supralabials usually 8/8 or 9/9; infralabials usually 10/10; preoculars 1/1; postoculars 2/2; temporals 1+2/1+2; anal divided. Dorsum (as preserved) mud-brown to chocolate-brown to nearly black, paler brown laterally; top of head may be paler than dorsum of body; supralabials, chin, sides of neck light brown; narrow, light brown lateral stripe on posterior body and tail; venter gray (Schwartz & Henderson 1991: 626). |
