Type locality: Mahaddei Wen and Mogadiscio [= Mogadishu] neighbourhood, Somalia.  
Reproductionovovivparous 
TypesHolotype: MSNM 581 (Milano, syntypes given as MSNM 2118 and 2119 by McDiarmid et al. 1999: 208). Given as MSNM 281 by Reynolds & Henderson 2018. 
Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: Early reports likely misclassified as E. thebaicus (Reynolds & Henderson 2018). 
EtymologyNamed after its distribution in Somalia.
