CommentThe generic name “Padangia” is preoccupied by the molluscan genus Padangia BABOR 1900.

Type species: Padangia pulchra WERNER 1924: 54 is the type species of the genus Etheridgeum WALLACH 1988. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin “pulcher” = beautiful, handsome, fine, fair.
