CommentDistribution: see map and list of localities in Powell et al. 2023: 851-852 (Table 3, Fig. 4) and Tarkhnishvili et al. 2022: 380 (Fig. 1).

Phylogenetics: E. notaeus, beniensis, and deschauenseei are closely related and Rivas et al. 2024 suggested to synonymize them, cofirming data by Tarkhnishvili et al. 2022.
