Reproduction 
TypesHolotype: ZSI 2350 (apparently the single type mentioned by STOLICZKA 1870); the BMNH online catalogue lists BMNH 1946.8.18.22-24 as “types” without further details. 
CommentNot listed as such by DAS 1996 (Biogeogr. SE-Asia). Has been reported from the Nicobar Islands but not listed by DAS 1999.

Animals from Bali lack the typical 5-7 longitudinal lines and are uniform brown dorsally and laterally.
