Type locality: “Liberia, West Coast of Africa”.  
Reproductionovovivparous 
TypesHolotype: ANSP 9456, collected H.A. Ford (see Brygoo & Roux-Estève, 1983, for determination of limits of type series). 
Diagnosis 
CommentDistribution: Not listed by BROADLEY 1998 for the Democratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire). Not in Gabon fide PAUWELS & VANDE WEGHE 2008. Not in East Africa (i.e. Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi fide S. Spawls, pers. comm., 28 June 2018). For a map with localities in Equatorial Guinea see SÁNCHEZ-VIALAS et al. 2022.
