Type locality: Region d’Ambilobe, province de Diégo-Suarez.

Diagnosis 
CommentFlexiseps elongatus has been “tentatively” assigned to Flexiseps by Erens et al. 2017

The publication date is 1934, not 1933, fide Frétey 2023. 
EtymologyNamed after the elongate body shape of this species.
