CommentSynonymy after KOFRON 1985. AMARAL (1929) considered Tropidodipsas annulifera as a synonym of Tropidodipsas (= Sibon) anthracops which he renamed Sibynomorphus anthracops. 
EtymologyNamed after the diminutive form (“annul-”) of Latin “anus” = ring and the verb “fero, ferre” = carry.
