Distribution	SE Mexico (Oaxaca, Chiapas, Tabasco [HR]), 730-1800 m elevation Type locality: Near Colonia Francisco I. Madero, ca. 1800 m elevation, municipality of Jitotol, Chiapas, Mexico.

Types	Holotype: INHS (= UIMNH) 51352, adult female collected 23 December 1961 by T. MacDougall.

Etymology	Named after Latin latus, wide, broad; spacious, extensive + Latin cinctus, surrounded, encircled. [“...a broad light neck ring...”].
