Type locality: “Tsivono, region de Tuléar, à 24 kilomètres au Nord de cette ville”

Diagnosis 
CommentEyeless and earless species with no forelimbs but small, reduced, styliform hindlimbs. 
EtymologyNamed after its small size (”petit” in French), the smallest in the genus.
