| Etymology | The species nomen terrakarenorum is a modern Latin noun meaning “Land of the Karen”. It refers to the Karen people, the major inhabitants of the mountains throughout the hitherto known range of the new species. This species nomen is a noun at the plural genitive case, not an adjective (Hauser et al. 2022). |
