Diagnosis | Diagnosis: “It belongs to that section of the genus characterized by the possession of imbricate scales, instead of granules or tubercles on the dorsum. From its nearest allies it may be differentiated as follows: (see table in Loveridge 1942: 321). The keeling, quite apart from other characters, distinguishes barbouri from homoeolepis, ophiolepis, isolcpis and the so-called Bunocnemis modestus.” (Loveridge 1942: 321). |
