DistributionS India (Anaimalay, Palni, Tinnevelly, Kerala)

Type locality: Anamalay Hills, Southern India.  
TypesType: BMNH 1946.8.23.61 (and possibly additional specimens). 
CommentSynonymy: BAUER & RUSSELL 1995 placed Dravidogecko in the synonymy of Hemidactylus. BANSAI & KARANTH 2013 suggested to resurrect Dravidogecko because it forms a clearly separate clade within Hemidactylus.
