|Comment||Diagnosis. An apparently small (body length of the largest male = 33 mm; female unknown) isolepis like Hemidactylus with conical tapering tail and trunk dorsally covered with uniform strongly imbricate keeled scales.|
|Etymology||Named “after my friend Dr U. Funaioli, Agricultural Officer, former Instructor at the College for Wildlife Management of Moshi (Tanzania), author of several publications on eastern African fauna and valid collaborator over a number of years of the Museo Zoologico « La Specola » of the University of Florence.”|
