Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A moderately large, long-tailed Heteronotia with bold pattern of dark straight-edged transverse nuchal, dorsal and caudal bands, distinguishable from H. planiceps by temporal stripe in contact with nuchal band but not with occipital band [from STORR 1989].
