TypesHolotype: BMNH 1946.1.10.8 (orig. 1920.6.3.7), a 900 mm female (Selangor Mus.).

Habitat: marine.

Abundance: Rare. This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyNamed after Cecil Boden Kloss (1877-1949), director of the Raffles Museum in Singapore from 1923 to 1932.
