Distribution	Indonesia (SE Sulawesi) Type locality: Lake Matanna, South-eastern Celebes
Reproduction	ovovivparous
Types	Holotype: NMBA 1735, a 240 mm male (P. Sarasin and F. Sarasin, 1893-1896).
