Type locality: “Haycock Mountain, 2000 ft., 40 miles from Point de Galle, Ceylon”

DiagnosisDiagnosis: Differs from jerdoni as follows: Breadth of rostral above that of the head; diameter of the body 32 times in the total length (Smith 1943: 50).
