Comment | Synonymy: Cheke (1984) considers Janetaescincus veseyfitzgeraldi a synonym of J. braueri. The species is now considered as a juvenile of J. braueri. However, the 2 species are about the same size. |
Etymology | Named after Leslie Desmond Edward Foster Vesey-Fitzgerald (1909-1974), an Irish zoologist, herpetologist, and environmentalist. |
