Type locality: Pointe à Raquettes, Île de la Gonâve, Haiti.

INCERTAE SEDIS: Single specimen from Hinche, Haiti, not subspecifically assigned.  
Reproductionoviparous 
TypesHolotype: MCZ 25435. 
Diagnosis 
CommentSubspecies: With the reallocation of Leiocephalus altavelensis (Noble & Hassler 1933) to L. barahonensis, and the recognition of L. endomychus (Schwartz 1967) as a distinct species, L. vinculum is restricted to the monotypic population on Ile de la Gonave.
