Comment	Distribution: see map in Eliades et al. 2022: 107 (Fig. 8). Phylogenetics: Lepidodactylus balioburius is paraphyletic fide Eliades et al. 2022. See their tree in Fig. 8.
Etymology	From Latin “balius” = brown, and “burius” = beast
