CommentGroup. Member of Lepidodactylus group I. Kraus and Oliver included 4 species in the L. pumilus group: L. magnus, L. pumilus, L. sacrolineatus, and L. zweifeli. 
EtymologyPresumably named after the Latin pumilus (a dwarf), in reference to the small size of this species. (G. Shea, pers. comm., 9 Feb 2024)
