Comment | Similar species: Member of Lepidodactylus group II, most similar to L. gardineri. Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. |
Etymology | Named after the words for “small lizard” in the local Tuvaluan language and Tepuka island where the first specimens were discovered. |
