Type locality: Abong Mbang, Cameroon  
Reproductionoviparous. 
TypesHolotype: MHNG 963.41 (F), Cameroun: Abong Mbang, 650 m; J.-L. Perret 8 V 1957. 
Diagnosis 
CommentAbundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyNamed after Dr. Ion Eduard Fuhn (1916-1987), Romanian herpetologist.
