Etymology | The latinized form of the Greek noun e.piskopos, meaning "bishop," is episcopus. ft is used as a noun in apposition to the generic name. The species is named to honor Wolfgang Bischoff (ZFM.K), who collected most of the type material. Specific epithet is a noun in apposition and thus requires a “-us” ending fide Franzen & Wallach (2007: 261). |
