| Comment | Distribution: apparently known form Argentina only by museum material, but never found in the wild (Avila et al. 2013: 228).
Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). |
| Etymology | Named after the travelers of the Francisco Moreno Expedition, who were the first to explore Lake Buenos Aires, after Latin explorator = searcher, examiner. |
