Type locality: Argentina (Chubut, 18 km MW Dos Pozos)  
Reproductionoviparous.<br /><br />Hybridization: L. melanops and L. xanthoviridis each hybridize with L. shehuen and L. fitzingerii (Grummer et al. 2021). 
TypesHolotype: MZUF No. 22810. 
Diagnosis 
CommentLiolaemus xanthoviridis has been given full species status by ETHERIDGE 1992.
