CommentSynonymy: Broadley 1983 (AHN 2: 2) considered Lygodactylus angularis dysmicus as a synonym of L. gutturalis but Lobón-Rovira et al. 2023 elevated it to full species status.

EtymologyNamed after Greek dysmicos (δυσμικός), western. ["...Race occidentale de Latin angularis…"].
