Type locality: Farm Beauley 260LR (23°4’S, 29°0’E), Bochum district, Transvaal (now Limpopo Province)

TypesHolotype: DNMNH (= TM) 58995; paratypes: TM 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: differing from L. nigropunctatus and L. incognitus in having chin shields numbering two or three, precloacal pores seven or eight and median subcaudals arranged 2, 1, 1, 2, 1, while it appears to be restricted in range to the Makgabeng hills and Blouberg.
