Type locality: Syria, between Homs and Palmyra.

TypesHolotype: FMNH 19586 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: Allied to L. diadema, but with widely spaced black dorsal crossbars; preoculars three on each side; 10 lower labials [from SCHMIDT 1939].
