Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: According to Miralles and Vences (2013) M. polleni “should be restricted to the polleni-S clade (including M. intermedius (Boettger, 1913) – as a junior synonym), whereas the clade polleni-N represents a new undescribed species.
