Etymology | Named after Dr. Charles Thomas Brues (1879-1955), a zoologist and entomologist. He moved to Harvard (1909), where he was Associate Curator of Insects, at the Harvard Museum of Comparative Zoology, and later Professor of Entomology, retiring in 1947. |
