CommentHabitat: lowland coastal desert scrub and dry deciduous forests. Semi-arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018).

Diet: frogs, lizards, and rodents. 
EtymologyNamed after Dr. Edwin Ruthven Heath (1839-1932), a traveler, pharmacist, physician, railway administrator, and diplomat. Heath worked and lived in Kansas, Peru, Chile, Guatemala, and Nicaragua.
