Type locality: city of Guaratingueta (22°49' S; 45°93' W), Sodre mill, state of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Diagnosis 
CommentRelated to C. rustica, being distinguished from the latter by the numbers of supra- and infralabials and the generalized color pattern. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin “montanus”, meaning “pertaining to mountains.
