| Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A small Myriopholis, reaching a total length of 160 mm. It is assigned to the M. longicauda (Peters, 1854) species group based on having 260–285 middorsals and 26–27 subcaudals, a robust body, total body length to body width (LOA/BW ratio 51–57, a rounded beak, small anterior supralabial, 12 midtail scale rows semilunar cloacal shield and pink colouration in life (but darker above than below).
